The time has come for me retire from government service. I have worked in local government in Michigan since 1989 and have enjoyed every minute! I have been epsecially fortunate to have worked in Cascade Township for the last five years. My wife and I plan to stay in our home in the Township after retiring - this is truely a great place to live!!!
I gave my board a lot of notice so they can find a suitable replacement and have him or her on board before I leave.
My last day with the Township will be January 25, 2013.
